There are exciting new workshops coming this spring:

Mosaic Picture Frame, Precious Metal Clay, and Raku.

Mosaic Picture Frame
Instructor: Alissa Blumenthal	Sunday Apr 7 1:00 PM-3:00 PMSunday Apr 14 1:00 PM-2:30 PM
Develop a bold and colorful pattern with broken ceramic pieces, glass gems and mirror that will frame a favorite photograph or work of art. Alissa will also discuss how this technique has other great applications both indoors and out. Materials included, but you are welcome to bring your own trinkets to personalize your piece.

Precious Metal Clay
Instructor: Nicole Dubrow	Sunday May 5 10:00 AM-4:00 PM
Nicole is a highly experienced teacher and will guide you in creating beautiful work with emphasis on varied finishing techniques that will make your work unique. There is a $64 materials fee. There will be a break for a brown bag lunch.

Raku

This is a two-session workshop in which students will have the opportunity to work with a raku-specific clay bod to create work that will be glazed and fired during the second session. The raku process is very exciting, and produces beautiful variations in finished pieces. Participants must be over 18, or over 13 if they are signed up with an adult. All materials included. Price, dates and time are to be determined. Please call the office to express your interest.

Bus Trip to The Barnes Foundation

Please join us for a tour of The Barnes Foundation with our own docent! We have scheduled this trip for a Friday to take advantage of special programming-including music and refreshments-that The Barnes is offering that day. We will board a yellow school bus at the Cedar Grove Park location PROMPTLY at 3:15pm. Reservations must be made no less than 10 days in advance-Space is limited!
