Whitemarsh Art Center Logo Contest
Deadline: Monday, November 17, 2008 Unveiling: The Whitemarsh Art Center Craft Market Preview Party on December 4, 2008 Entry Requirements: · Contest open to all members of the Whitemarsh Art Center. Those who are not members may participate by becoming an “Individual” member or paying an application fee of $25.00. · All contest participants must be 16 years old or older. Anyone age 18 must have a parent’s/guardian’s signature on the entry form. Logo Requirements: · One color · The name “Whitemarsh Art Center” must be used in the overall design. However, the logo can be designed so that it can function with or without the name. · The use of initials only (WAC) is strongly discouraged · The logo must work in the positive and negative · The logo must NOT incorporate any elements related to the art center’s current building or location Prize: · $250.00 Cash Prize · Lifetime individual membership to the Whitemarsh Art Center including discounts on classes and local retailers, as well a many other benefits (Membership is non-transferrable). · Inclusion in press releases announcing the new logo, as well as the public unveiling of logo. IMPORTANT NOTICE The winning entry will become the property of the Whitemarsh Art Center. The winning artist agrees that all copyrights and ownership of the winning logo is transferred to the Whitemarsh Art Center and that there is no compensation for the logo or its use other than the prize(s) offered.
To Enter: Email your logo design (JPEG) along with your name, address, telephone and e-mail address (anyone under age 18 must also include a parent’s name and telephone) to office@whitemarsharts.org or you may mail your logo design to Whitemarsh Art Center, P.O. Box 76, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444 If you are not a member of the art center you must purchase an individual membership or include an entry fee of $25.00 to have your design considered. Anyone submitting a design for the contest must first read the “Important Notice” above and agree to its terms and conditions. |
